Joyful Life:
The skill of ‘dying’ & ‘resurrecting’
We had seen
in the earlier posts that in the digital age, we need to re tune our mind so
that we do not permit negative feelings like anger or hatred. In case it makes
an entry, we need to zero it - like the electric charges becoming zero when
earthed.
Also to get
rid of the sources of our negative feelings, we may have to die to some of our
relationships in the family, relatives & friends.
Is it possible to die to all
relationships that caused the negative feelings, and be born afresh as a child
with the curiosity to understand and learn with open mindedness, but at our
age?
In that case, how to handle those
who could only be the sources of our negative feelings?
Willingly paying the price to
distance yourself from those persons while starting afresh to develop positive
relationships of your option, the skill of secret dying for joyful living can
be acquired.
No one can forget the past unless
something went wrong in the brain.
But one can have the freedom from
the known – the past. It means you are not burdened or enslaved by the past.
You can live to even positive relationships in the past.
Remember that the world has
innumerable persons – all strangers – zero to you. Hence when you die to some
of your negative relationships, you just add them to those zeros- the strangers.
When strangers approach you for
any help which you can, you will help them. Like that, when those ‘dead’
persons approach you for help, you could do it, if you really died to that
relationship. They may not even be aware that they are ‘dead’ to you. You need
not tell them that they are ‘dead’ to you, unless you want to hurt them – evidence
you had failed in ‘dying’ them to you.
When a person physically dies, it is death for ever. But if
you die to that person in your mind, he becomes a stranger like person – a zero
to you. In case he/she undergoes a transformation becoming positive to you, you
can resurrect him/her in your mind to start a positive relationship afresh.
This skill of ‘dying’ to your negative relationships & ‘resurrecting’
them when they really become the sources of your positive feelings, will lead
to joyful adventurous life.
